About Me

I am a high school ESL and English teacher in a district where there are nearly 75 different home languages spoken, approximately 30% of the student body is bilingual, and 5% of the district is enrolled in ESL.

This blog is my platform for discussing our practice for both the benefit of my instruction and yours!

While voicing my ideas, I often give voice to my students as well.  They’re insightful, they’re funny, and they are my constant inspiration to grow as an educator.  And everyday, in my room, they eat tamales for lunch.
